The Book Club in London Shoreditch auf keinen Fall verpassen.
Kristina Collantes, Jay Cover (Nous Vous), Kristian Hammerstad,
Jason Kerley, James Ari King, Micah Lidberg, Antonio Ladrillo,
Miss Lotion, Robert Maple, Andy Miller, Marcus Oakley, Kyle Platts,
Kate Prior, Daniel Sparkes, Katja Spitzer, Ian Stevenson, Magic Sweater,
Zeloot. Liat Chen und Jason Kerley haben die Ausstellung kuratiert.
Alle Erlöse gehen an das Kinderhilfswerk NSPCC!
New exhibition in The Book Club! Jason Kerley and Liat Chen present:
Rarr (pronounced Raaarrghhh). Here is the info:
Raarr (pronounced RAAARRGHHH) is an exhibition consisting of
collaborative zoological drawings. However ordinary collaborations,
they are not. The contributing artists will are a whole generation apart.
Twenty illustrators have been specially commissioned to draw a reptile,
bird, mammal, amphibian, fish or insect of their choosing... sans-head or
face. Upon completion these headless wonders will be passed onto
the real talent: twenty eager school children who will receive the
baton from the illustrators and complete the drawings; adding features,
colour, limbs, even names,
whilst not forgetting the all important heads. All profits from the exhibition
will be donated to the children's charity the NSPCC.
Thursday 19th January will see the launch of the exhibition where guests
will be able to pick up one of the limited edition prints hand customised
by the younger artists & listen too Hung Drawn & Quartered (NTS family)
providing an auditory backdrop to the evening.
